The Waco Chronicles
Just one man's take on life in Waco, Texas, life in the sports world and life in general. In other words, likely just a bunch of mind-numbing crap.

From the 10/27/03 Issue of ESPN The Magazine:
"Often (Melissa Dotson) would come home and find Dotson entertaining as many as five teammates with movies, East Coast rap, and marijuana. 'They smoked all the time, she said. 'Before practice, after practice, before games. I know. I did too.' She calls those 'the good times.'....The temperature inside the Farrell (sic) Center is pushing 100. Inside, Harvey Thomas dribbles through his 4 o' clock workout..., walking past the 10,284 seats that have rarely been completely filled. 'This is the season I signed up for,' he says. 'I figure everything is gonna work out.'"
Apparently his ship has finally come in.
Wow! Harvey freakin' Thomas! He did it! He's in the league, y'allll. Which league is it exactly? And whose rim did he rock to get there?
