Of course, there is one team bad enough to join that pantheon of suckiness, my cubbies. And I was heartbroken as I was watching them open up a 9-1 lead on Cleveland, thinking, 'wow, this is gonna be fun seeing how they lose this game!' And much to my despair, the rains came in the 7th, and before the vaunted Cubs pen could blow the lead, the game was suspended and ended in the 7th. What kind of crap is that? Oh well, they play the red-hot Twins this weekend, so a sweep is imminent, right!
Moses hadn't yet parted the Red Sea the last time the Cubs won a World Series.
